A Slight Intermission
Posted by Tensuke at 7:58pm on Wednesday, February 13th, 2013

Hey all, I know there's been a lack of news (and changes) lately, and there's a few reasons for that. On one hand, school is getting hectic as I get further into my major/minor classes. Teaching is a lot more involved than you may think. :P

Another reason is because I've been working on behind-the-behind-the-scenes stuff for D-Battle. Normal behind-the-scenes stuff would still be code, just backend stuff that you wouldn't immediately notice. But most of the stuff I've been working on has been questlines, areas, NPCs, battle formulas, medal ideas, etc. etc. So, while most of those things remain unfinished, I don't want to start coding them until I have a clear idea of where I want to go.

And luckily, I do have one! Sort of. Kinda. Eh, good enough. Expect to see some new things popping up in the changelog over the next few weeks, and hopefully there'll be enough done next month that I can finally update to Version 0.3 and be well on my way to Version 0.4.

Lastly, I would like to update you on what's happened since the last update. The Item Shop is now fully working, you can buy/sell items there at your heart's content. You can check out what you have in your inventory from the navigation bar up top, and you can even use some of the items. Of course, they're all healing items, and without battles your Digimon don't really need them yet. I've also spruced up your profile pages, and added the ability to reset your password should you forget it.

That's about all for now, stay tuned for some exciting updates to D-Battle, and thanks for playing! :D
